The chart information in My Local Almanac is in every Old Farmer's Almanac but the numbers are national, which means approximate for your location. To get specific, accurate information for your location you have to perform a calculation. The formula is also in every Almanac and it is not too hard, but it can feel a little like homework. Our My Local Almanac product does the calculations for you!
Important: This product observes daylight savings time. If you live in an area that doesn't observe daylight savings time, such as Arizona or parts of Indiana, then this product will be inaccurate and it is not recommended.

My Local Almanac
For decades I used the New England Edition and had to make conversions to my location. A pain but it worked. Then The Southern Edition appeared wit Atlanta, Ga (my home) as the reference point. It was accurate to within 5 minutes anywhere in the state. When the Southern Edition was no longer published I discovered the local edition to my zip code. It is great and I purchase the New England edition to make conversions anywhere else I need. Love the local edition and you can not beat the low price of $3.95. Thanks

My Local Almanac
A few years back, I could purchase a digital download of just the moon information for the entire year. It was only a page or two, but perfect for my needs. I could cut and glue them into my pocket calendars easily, very handy for making a dental appointment or scheduling other tasks where the moon's phase and sign should be taken into account. Now it takes me hours to cut out the columns I want and fit them into my calendar. Otherwise, this is a good resource and worth the $3.95.

This information is not sent over Local media any longer. Local sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset and how long we get sunlight is important info for many people as are times of high tide. Moon phase and age are important to farmers and star gazers. This product is very valuable.

I like your almanac but it is missing the daily solar elevation. Also whoever maintains your website has not changed the year on your catalog page. I emailed and asked about the date as I did not want the wrong year received no reply. Summary: almanac good customer service stinks.
