The face is engraved with depth markings in inches so you know exactly how deep you're planting - especially useful for planting bulbs. The tang (or neck) is precision forged to the perfect angle for ergonomic working, and uses a different composition of steel for optimal strength in this important area of the tool. A sturdy leather hanging cord allows for tidy storage.
