While the team at Cognitive Surplus has done a lot to make sure these infusers are sturdy enough to go places with you, they are still made of glass and require more careful handling than a metal bottle.

• After pouring in hot water, wait a few minutes before tightening the lid to prevent a vacuum from forming.
