Review
Hello, It didn't answer a lot of my specific questions with regards to issues I was having in my garden. I found the info too general. Had I been able to peruse the e-book prior to ordering it, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

Almanac Vegetable Gardening Book
Covers the subject much more thoroughly than I expected. Information on watering, light, fertilizing, soil, pests; as well as everything you need to know (from planting to harvest) for a long list of vegetables and most common herbs. Very pleased with the purchase - useful for novice and seasoned gardeners alike.

Handbook review
Very thorough. A wonderful resource I'll refer to many times. Adding the forms and lists is very helpful. The Old Farmer's Almanac comes through again with this publication.

Informative
I’m new to the Almanac but I am astonished at the wealth of information included in each of your guides. Practical advice for the home gardener. Thank you!

Veg. Gardener’s Handbook
A wonderful resource at a very low cost. I question the last frost day chart. For my town in Canada the date is at least 2 weeks earlier than locals assume and 3 weeks earlier than the government weather station says. But that is a quibble. I love the book.

Perfect Handbook
This is a perfect handbook for me. I'm new to gardening and this has so much valuable information and bits of old wisdom. I've gotten a lot from it and have begun to plan for next year's bigger garden.

great little handbook
I really wanted this in hard copy. For me reference books are meant to be written in……the pages for notes aren't accessible via the format this is in, so there are a lot of pages that just don't do much good. I could print, but 130 pages is a bit much to do that. It really looks like a great little book, just wish it was still available in hardcover. A few sections need to be expanded more - like compatible plants, but hey, it's more info than I had!
