Loyalty Program Overview

The Almanac Rewards Program (the “Program”) is a free customer loyalty program operated by The Old Farmer’s Almanac (“OFA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Participation in the Program is governed by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). By enrolling or participating, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  • The Program is open to natural persons who are 18 years of age or older at the time of enrollment.

  • Enrollment is available only to individual consumers for personal use.

  • Businesses, organizations, resellers, or groups purchasing for commercial purposes are not eligible to participate.

  • Membership is limited to one account per individual.

2. Enrollment

  • To participate, you must create or log in to a store account at store.almanac.com/account.

  • Enrollment is free—no purchase is required.

  • By joining, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding your account, rewards, and program updates.

3. Earning Harvest Points

  • Members (“you”) earn Harvest Points through qualifying purchases and eligible activities as communicated by OFA.

  • Unless otherwise stated:

    • Points are earned at a rate of 1 Harvest Point per $1 spent on the pre-tax subtotal of qualifying purchases.

    • Shipping fees, gift cards, and discounts do not count toward point accumulation.

  • OFA may, from time to time, offer bonus points, promotional multipliers, or non-purchase activities (e.g., referrals, surveys, or social media actions) that qualify for additional points.

  • Points typically post to your account within 2 hours of order fulfillment but may take longer during promotional events or order verification.

4. Redeeming Harvest Points

  • Harvest Points can be redeemed for discounts, products, or other rewards as outlined in your Rewards Dashboard.

  • Redemption requirements, thresholds, and available rewards are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Points cannot be redeemed on the same order in which they were earned.

  • Redemptions are final and cannot be reversed or refunded once submitted.

  • Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or gift cards.

5. Points Expiration and Inactivity

  • Harvest Points expire after 12 consecutive months of inactivity.

  • “Inactivity” means no qualifying purchase or point redemption has occurred within that 12-month period.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before points expire, but it is your responsibility to monitor your balance.

  • Once expired, points are permanently removed from your account and cannot be reinstated.

6. Account Management

You can view your:

  • Current point balance

  • Available rewards

  • Transaction history

by logging into your account at store.almanac.com/account  and clicking on Rewards Dashboard.

Members are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their account information, including contact details and email preferences.

7. Program Modifications or Termination

OFA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason without prior notice. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Changes to point accrual rates

  • Redemption values or reward offerings

  • Expiration policies

  • Eligibility criteria or participation requirements

If the Program is terminated, any unredeemed points will expire automatically and have no value.

You may voluntarily cancel your participation at any time by contacting Customer Service at store@almanac.com.

8. Limitations and Restrictions

  • Points cannot be transferred, sold, or combined between members.

  • Points do not constitute property and may not be inherited or assigned.

  • Program abuse, including fraud, unauthorized account use, or manipulation of purchases or referrals, may result in forfeiture of all points and termination of your membership.

  • OFA reserves the right to correct point or reward errors at any time, even after posting.

9. Referral Program

Members may earn additional rewards by referring new customers to the OFA Store, subject to these rules:

  • The referred individual must be a new customer who has never made a purchase at store.almanac.com.

  • The referral must be completed using your unique referral link, and the referred customer must meet any applicable purchase minimums.

  • Referral rewards are typically issued as Harvest Points or discount coupons after the referred customer completes a qualifying purchase.

  • Reward structures, eligibility, and limits may vary by campaign and will be detailed in promotional materials.

  • Self-referrals or creating multiple accounts to earn referral benefits are strictly prohibited.

  • Abuse of the referral system may result in disqualification and removal from the Program.

  • OFA may impose a limit on the total number of referrals per member.

10. Privacy and Data Usage

Participation in the Program is subject to OFA’s Privacy Policy.
By joining, you consent to the collection and use of personal data for the purpose of administering the Program, fulfilling rewards, and providing relevant offers or updates.

11. General Conditions

  • Membership and participation are void where prohibited by law.

  • These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

  • Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire.

  • Failure by OFA to enforce any right or provision herein does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
