Description

Drill-Powered Cultivator for Loosening, Tilling, and Weeding Garden Beds

Turn your cordless drill into a fast, lightweight cultivating tool. Vern Ader’s Weed ’N Till is designed to loosen soil, aerate garden beds, and prepare planting areas quickly — without hauling out a full-size tiller or breaking your back with hand tools.

The spinning tine design breaks up compacted soil, improves aeration, and makes it easy to refresh rows, mix amendments, or prepare small planting areas in seconds. It’s ideal for raised beds, between-row cultivation, bulb planting, and maintaining established gardens throughout the season.

And while it excels at cultivation, it also makes removing certain weeds surprisingly easy.

Cultivate, Aerate, and Prepare Soil with Ease

  • Loosens and tills soil in small or tight spaces
  • Aerates soil to improve water and nutrient absorption
  • Perfect for refreshing raised beds and garden rows
  • Makes quick work of mixing compost or soil amendments
  • Works in loam, clay, gravel, and compacted soil
  • Creates clean planting holes for bulbs and transplants

Because it’s drill-powered, the action is fast and controlled — letting you work precisely where larger tillers can’t go.

A Powerful Tool for Removing Deep-Rooted Weeds

Beyond cultivating and soil prep, the Weed ’N Till makes quick work of weeds with tough root systems. The rotating action spins dandelions, crabgrass, and other taproot weeds right out of the ground — no kneeling, bending, or digging by hand.

  • Makes weeding fun. We were surprised too. (Almanac tested.)
  • Reduces hand pulling and bending
  • Chemical-free and eco-friendly
  • Saves time — and your knees
  • Small holes left in lawns quickly fill in on their own

Available in 2 Sizes

Our Tips for Using the Weed ’N Till

Place the tip on the ground next to the weed’s center or main stalk, then squeeze the drill trigger and press down lightly for a few seconds. It usually works best at a slight angle rather than straight down.

Most of the time, the roots will come up with the weed — though not always. Some weeds may break apart, and others can wrap around the tool. If they don’t fall off when you lift the drill, just turn the drill off and pull them off by hand. Running the drill on high for a second or two can also help shake them loose.
