I really like my Local Almanac pages, they help me in so many ways.
I actually tried another like product in which I was so disappointed. I just purchased the latest pages March 2017 - March 2018. When can I purchase the 2018-2019 almanac pages?
I always purchase a Almanac in the local feed store or where ever I can find it. If I subscribe, what are the terms?

I purchase the almanac each year. Why do I have to pay for my local almanac?

Submitted by

All the information that is in My Local Almanac is in your printed Almanac. Each printed Almanac includes a straightforward formula for refining specific information, like sunrise and sunset times, to your specific zip code. My Local Almanac does that calculation for you.

Why do you have to pay for My Local Almanac? (1) This is a niche companion product to the Almanac. It's not for everybody. Amateur astronomers like it, professional fishermen like it, certain professions like it, but not the general public. We found that giving away our wall calendars and replicas of historical Almanacs with purchase is much more popular. (2) Several million Old Farmer's Almanacs are sold each year. Within that group of customers technical skills vary wildly. Some don't even own computers. While downloading a PDF file and opening it on your computer or tablet may seem completely basic, for many it would not be. Even if a small percentage of our readership had an issue, we would be inundated with technical support phone calls and emails.

Would Colorado be in the Western Region?

Submitted by

Yes. However, even if you bought the National or Southern Edition Almanacs you would still be able to do the exact calculations for your area (sunrise, sunset, and so on). The different editions just give you a quick approximate reference. Our 'My Local Almanac' product will do all the calculations for you for your zip code. It's very handy for a heavy Almanac user.

After you buy it, you will be emailed instructions and a link. Basically, My Local Almanac creates a PDF just for you (based on your zip code) and places it in your "My Account" section of Almanac.com, which requires you to log in. There you can download it to your computer.

To view your My Local Almanac, just log into our store and go to your "My Account" section (the button for it is on the top right of the page. It is red).
