I just got my online-copy, but
I wonder how you find the "best Days"? As in european style moon calendars are mostly different days recommended than in your almanac. Who is right and why? The calculation of the daily moon signs also seems to be different - only the general rules of gardening by the moon seem to be the same. See lunarium.co.uk or moonsigncalendar.net

Thank you

Submitted by

Be sure that when you are checking the Moon’s astrological place, that you do not use the Moon’s astronomical place listed on the Left-Hand Calendar Pages of the Almanac. Instead, please use the chart in the back of the Almanac (p. 245 of the 2017 edition).
Also, our astrologer lists the times for the Moon’s place at noon, Eastern Time, for North America. Some other sources may choose a different time of day and time zone.

Do you have a calendar or condensed version of just the weather. I'd like the Canadian, BC west coast if possible. thx

Submitted by

Yes, we have what you are looking for. Click here.

i am excited to be able to receive an online copy. And hope to be able to learn how to garden in a small space by season. Thank you

I would like to know if National covers only US?

Submitted by

Yes.

Submitted by

I live in Europe in an area corresponding to California and it´s impossible to buy a 2017 digital almanac because you sell only for Usa and Canada.Thanx.Joao.

Great as ever!!

Always look forward to seeing what the winter has to offer. The farmer's Almanac is always in the ballpark.

I wish it were available at store.alamanac.com in a Kindle edition (it is at amazon.com more expensively), but the special free reader provided works well if you use Chrome in Incognito mode so plugins don't potentially interfer with access. I can magnify it to see just half a page at a time, which works very well for my ancient eyes on my small but wide laptop. The articles are well written, and no string is required for this version as access is easy and always available. :-)
***Addendum: Downloading the Almanac PDF is the highest quality and most user friendly way to view as my reply to another staff comment indicates.

I have been a fan of OFA since I was 11 years of age.
I borrowed my neighbors copy and got so wrapped up and enchanted by the the idea of a book with so much between its covers, I learned much about seeds, soil, weather, moon phases , recipes , jokes and so very much more.
I love the "Everything" Almanac.
Thank You!

I purchased the online edition. How do I download?

Submitted by

There are 2 ways to access the Almanac you bought:

1) Immediately after purchase you received an email with a special link to the Almanac.

2) You may also log into Almanac.com and go to the “My Account” section. On the first page, also called the view tab, you will see a link to the Almanac you ordered.

Once you have the Almanac open on its special website that makes it easy to read online look for a button in the menu at the top that says “PDF.” Pressing this button will let you download the Almanac to your computer. It will let you download a page or two or the entire Almanac.

Submitted by

For me, there is no PDF button as described, but if you click on the hamburger icon Ξ you can then download the PDF. For me, this is the highest quality way to view the Almanac. The pictures are now higher quality, and the URL links in the advertisements are clickable directly. It's easier to scroll and go from page to page with PDF format also. I use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Your PDF reader may give different results.

Is there a way to get hard copy and online access?

Submitted by

Is the price of $4.95 for the online version of the Almanac per month 0or per year?

Submitted by

It's for the year, it's a one time payment for the Almanac that only published once a year.

We also have a digital magazine for tablets and computers that has fresh new content each month and with that you can pay for the whole year upfront or by the month.
