I would like to know what a calendar holder is and to see a picture of one and where to purchase one. Thanks

Calendar holders, or calendar frames, for wall calendars are frames, often made of wood, but sometimes other materials, such as wrought iron, that act just like a picture frame. The wall calendar hangs within the frame, to make it look more finished on the wall. Unfortunately, we do not offer these at this time. You can find them, however, via online, such as on Amazon.com. Some publishers, like Lang, make frames trimmed to fit their particular calendars, but you might be able to use them for calendars from other publishers. Just check the sizes of the calendar you wish to frame, using the dimensions given for when the calendar is open. To view some calendar frame options, try searching for "calendar frame" or "calendar holder" on Amazon.com.

There are also simpler calendar hangers or hooks that do not frame all sides, but just have a decorative top from which to hang the calendar--for these, you don't have to worry as much about calendar size, although you might want to match the width as closely as possible.

Love this product, but can't buy as I don't know it's measurements :(
You should put the sizes on all the descriptions of your calenders, as we are limited to what will fit in our holder :(

I agree with Marlene. The size of the calendar is the first thing I look for. For anyone who uses calendar frames (most people I know anyway) this is very important.
I would also likely make a purchase if measurement information was included.

The Old Farmer's Almanac Country calendar is 10-7/8" wide x 21-3/4" tall when open. Our Gardening, Weather Watcher's, and Recipes wall calendars are 10-7/8" wide x 16-3/4" tall when open. You can find this information on the Almanac.com Web page describing an individual calendar. For example:

http://www.almanac.com/product/old-farmers-almanac-2015-country-calendar

You should see a second arrow underneath the description paragraph, stating "Size:" (just above the Item number). Hope this helps!
