Canning Jar with Liquid Soap Pump

I bought two of these, and the lids were not just made to look rusty, they were actually rusty. They got rust all over your hands every time you touched them. I called customer service to ask about returning them, and they promptly refunded my money. It seemed to me that the process they used to distress the lids was not properly neutralized to halt it, and they continued to rust. I ended up sanding them down with a wire brush, and applying a rust inhibitor, then a couple of layers of clear coat. On the bright side, the jars are very heavy duty. The pump is just a plastic soap dispenser pump, but I do like that it dispenses a small amount of soap -- the right amount for and washing. Also, it doesn't leak / drip. If you break the jar, the lid will fit on any mason jar. I love them now that I fixed the lids, but I don't think people are purchasing this as a craft project, so that's why I only give a one star rating.
