Antique Wood Shuttle Cutting Vase
Made from an old hardwood loom shuttle that was used in a long-shuttered textile mill for cloth-weaving production. Paired with a glass tube, the shuttle has been repurposed into a cutting vase. Display a fresh cut flower or live ivy, or propagate a cutting for transplant. The shuttle measures 13" long and is roughly 80-100 years old. It will have an aged patina and show wear including cracks and dings. No two are exactly alike. The surprisingly heavy shuttle features pointed metal tips at both ends.
