Firstly, know that you cannot make a wrong choice on which regional edition you choose! If you live within a 12 hour drive of Atlanta choose the Southern or National Edition. If you live within a 1 to 2 day drive of San Francisco choose the Western or National Edition. All others select the National Edition. Every regional edition includes all our long-range weather predictions for the entire country. Additionally, regional editions have the same articles and number of pages as our National Edition (Except for the Canadian Edition eh. It has some Canada-specific articles and content).  The small difference in regional editions lies in the exact times for sunrise, sunset, tides, and astronomical phenomena. However, all regional editions include the instructions for calculating that same time-based information for your specific zip code anywhere in the country (With over 40,000 zip codes in the US, we can't customize the Almanac for everyone so calculations are necessary if you want to be exact). In short, you can't pick the wrong edition. If you live for example in Seattle and got the Southern Edition you would see your long-range weather forecast and be able to calculate your length of day, tide, and sunrise/sunset times.   Retail Locations for the US and Canada You can always find a copy of The Old Farmer's Almanac right here, but also we have wonderful retail partners if you prefer to pick up a copy in person. See the full list of retail stores that carry America's oldest and most popular almanac!
